Climeworks, Iceland // NYT

I visit Climeworks in Iceland for The New York Times. Grateful to have had the amazing opportunity to spend a couple of days visiting the Mammouth facility, during its construction. The giant machines will capture carbon dioxide from the air , lock the gases deep underground in the hope of delaying or reversing the effects of global warming.

It was pretty awe inspiring to witness the amount of work and organisation that goes in to building something so complex and on such a scale. Especially, given the sometimes hostile weather, as I experienced on my first day. Thankfully, my camera survived !
