Homes for Ukraine Refugees // The Wall Street Journal

A feature shot for The Wall Street Journal about the problems arising in the ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme. The citizen led programme got off to a flying start in the UK, but as the war drags on and the number of places being offered diminishes, many refugees have found themselves in limbo. I visited Fareham near Portsmouth, where a weekly social club has been started  by Lauren Brown – herself a host- to encourage the refugees and their host families to meet.
