Rob Mather, former strategy consultant, now founder & CEO of Against Malaria Foundation, photographed at his home in London for Dutch online magazine, De Correspondent.

In it’s 18 years, AMF has raised half a billion dollars and delivered more than 200 billion mosquito nets, which have been distributed by organisations and governments. The impact on reduction malaria has been huge; one vilage in Uganda saw a 98% reduction in malaria cases within 6 months. The foundation doesn’t have an office and spends less than 1% on overheads – instead Rob prefersto concentrate on having the most efficient operation possible. Each donor can track their contribution and monitor whether the nets reach their destination, the foundation relies on datea to help build trust and accountability.
