Reforestation UK // Bloomberg Businessweek

An interesting commission looking at the reforestation drive in the UK in order to help combat climate change. I visited three programmes across the UK; The Great Reserve, who advocate the planting of giant sequoias, The Carbon Community and TillHill Forestry who both utilise old and unsuitable farmland for the planting of various species of trees. The Carbon Community are also carrying out research on the best soil and tree combination to encourage faster growth.
