Long Covid // The Washington Post.

I photographed Sam from Devon, who developed long covid in 2020, for The Washington Post. He described an immediate shift in his relationship with his wife of almost 20 years. Fatigue, dizziness and spasms meant he could no longer go camping, take long walks or long bike rides with his wife and daughter. Sam says “my wife found it incredibly hard to accept that my life was different, and I couldn’t do all the things that I used to do. It’s like a whole new relationship.”
