  • Monocle – Escapist 2019 – Athens, Greece. 28th May 2019 / Blog

    Monocle magazine commissioned me in early April to photograph the town of Vouliagmeni on the ‘Greek Riviera’- 20 mins outside of Athens- for their annual ‘Escapist’ publication. The area is famous for its watersports, seafood and slow pace of life. I was lucky enough to spend 3 days meeting local business owners and residents, exploring the sights and soaking up the atmosphere.

  • Guardian Labs- Mental Heath Supplement 15th May 2019 / Blog

    Guardian Labs commissioned me for their Mental Health supplement as part of #mentalhealthawareness week.

    I photographed Rachel Williams, a survivor of domestic abuse. Rachel is now is an active campaigner about changes in the law surrounding this issue.

    I also photographed residents at a care home in Tredegar, where they are using VR technology to help dementia sufferers experience memories. Pupils from a local school go there on a weekly basis to help the residents.

  • Guardian Labs – Compare the Market 11th April 2019 / Blog

    Guardian Labs commissioned me to photograph 10 case studies across the UK for a project they were working on with Compare the Market looking at how people can save money with energy bills and consequently how this surplus cash can be put to a better use

  • Crafts Magazine – Mark Reddy and Jacqueline Moore 11th March 2019 / Blog

    Crafts magazine commissioned me to photograph Jacqueline Moore, owner of the new Hauser and Wirth gallery in Somerset and her partner Mark Reddy, who is a an accomplished spoon carver for their April/May 2019 issue.

  • The New York Times – Wylfa Newydd, Anglesey 18th January 2019 / Blog

    I travelled to Anglesey with writer Stanley Reed in November 2018 to explore the potential impacts of the proposed nuclear power plant at Wylfa Newydd, on the local community, environment and economy.

  • Monocle – Emirates – Dubai 3rd January 2019 / Blog

    I was commissioned by Monocle back in September for a really fascinating shoot in Dubai, which was an inside look into one of the world’s biggest airlines, Emirates. Myself and the writer spent 2 days with behind the scenes access at the awe-inspiring training and catering facilities – we also met and photographed the CEO, Sir Tim Clark.

    I had the pleasure of being involved with the San Miguel ‘rich list’ for the third year. This time I photographed traditional sign maker, Andrew Grundon, at his beautiful studio near Bodmin, Cornwall. Each year 20 participants are selected from around the globe to share their enriching tales.

  • British Red Cross – Isolation and Loneliness 28th September 2018 / Blog

    British Red Cross recently commissioned me to photograph BRC support user, Catherine, who has utilised their Connecting Communities team, which helps individuals who are experiencing isolation and loneliness within their community. Catherine has recently registered her dog as an emotional support pet through a US agency and is currently hoping to raise awareness in the UK of a pets significance in providing emotional support for individuals

     

     

     

     

     

  • 209 Women exhibition 6th September 2018 / Blog

    I’m really pleased to be involved in a timely photography initiative – 209 women- marking the centenary of the first women in the UK gaining the vote as well as the first female MP being elected to UK Parliament. To commemorate this occasion, 209 female photographers based in the UK will be photographing the 209 female MPS in the House of Parliament, culminating in an exhibition at Portcullis House, Westminster from December 2018 – February 2019 and later travelling to the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool. I will be photographing Christina Rees the MP for Neath and Shadow Secretary of State for Wales. Thank you to Hilary Wood, Cheryl Newman and Tracey Marshall who are organising and curating the project. #209women
