Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Unite Student’s JOGLE team, who cycled 1052 in 12 days in aid of Sports Relief. Even for the seasoned professional this was no mean feat. Considering that the majority of participants had only recently -within the last 6 months – taken up cycling, makes the challenge even more remarkable. Well, it was actually 13 days in total as the 12th and final day was delayed due to gale force winds – time was utilised wisely, however – with 4 members indulging in some commemorative body art!
I joined the team on the last leg of their journey through Cornwall. This is definitely one of the rare occasions where having a 1L engine car was a help not a hindrance – she handled the 7mph uphills beautifully and I was able to keep up and photograph the team for most of their journey.
